About Us

Scott Sullivan established Sullivan Design Company in 1994. Since then he has designed hundreds of homes from the mountains to the coast of North Carolina. Sullivan Design Company is a small firm that specializes in view oriented projects.

In 2001, Scott ventured into the stock house plans business and established a relationship with Southern Living magazine and has been featured in that magazine along with Coastal Living magazine and the Southern Living House Plans magazine.

Both our custom and stock plans draw inspiration from historical precedents. It is our philosophy that design should honor the classic styles by incorporating that influence into modern needs of people.

Scott has served as a design consultant on the Porters Neck Plantation Architectural Review Committee since 1998. He has been a member of the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD) since 1994. He is married with three children.
